    Hello, everyone!

As you begin your weekend, I wanted to send a general reminder regarding the opportunity to submit a Contributed Session abstract for the July 2026 International Biometric Conference. As many of you know, the submission period for Contributed Sessions began on 11 August, and that period closes on 3 November at 11:59 PM Eastern U.S. / Canada time.

You may establish a FREE account and begin your submission here: https://ibc2026.abstractcentral.com/login.

There are many advantages to members when it comes to the IBC. But please keep in mind that both members AND non-members are eligible to submit abstracts. Therefore, we welcome and encourage you to share this announcement with your colleagues who might not otherwise receive this notice.

Also keep in mind that individuals may submit more than one abstract. So if you have a number if ideas and themes that you believe would be appropriate for this audience, please submit them! However note that, if selected, you will only be able to present one contributed session.

And finally, please reserve 11 - 17 July 2026 for travel to the IBC, attendance at the full conference and your travels home. The official conference dates are from 12-16 July.

We hope to see you in Seoul, Republic of Korea in nine months time! More information will be shared very soon regarding registration options, travel advisories, special tours, hotel accommodations and more. Until then, enjoy your weekend and we look forward to reviewing your abstracts. Based on the submission activity to date, we do not believe that an extension of this 3 November deadline will be necessary.

Questions may be forwarded to ibs@biometricsociety.org

    Thanks very much!

    Peter
