Presented for outstanding contributions to the development of biometry in the developing world, Jane Hutton is recognized for her sustained contribution to the inclusion of biometry in the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) program of education in Africa.  Nominated by the British and Irish Region and supported by both the German and South African Regions, Jane will receive her award during the upcoming IBC at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 12 July.  Photographs and a summary of the award winners will be published in the Biometric Bulletin following the IBC.
