Authors whose native language is other than English and who are not fluent in written English may find themselves at a distinct disadvantage since most major science and policy journals require that manuscripts be submitted in English. To assist IBS members who don’t have ready access to colleagues who can assist them with their English language prose, the Prose Editing Project (PEP) has been established. Chaired by Paul Gallo (ENAR), and supported by a small group of IBS volunteers with editorial experience, IBS can offer assistance to authors whose native language is other than English. In order to participate in this service, you must be a member of IBS. You may log into the Members Only section of the site to read more about this program and submit your manuscript for review.

This may be a very useful tool indeed.
Just let´s experience how good the support will prove under practical conditions …

This should be useful and beneficial for both parties. It reminds me of pleasant experiences assisting fellow grad students and later, as a prof, helping foreign-born students present their work clearly.
